I graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2013 with a degree in English Literature—Creative Writing Concentration.
In my senior year, I was the social media intern at 2060 Digital, where I wrote social media content and took photos for events. Upon graduation, I was hired full time as a Social Media Strategist, where I was responsible for the social media marketing of various companies nationwide.
In April 2014, I accepted the position of Associate Editor at Artists Magazine through F+W Media. I wrote and edited various columns and feature articles for the magazine, as well as updating the website and our social media platforms. I also helped judge our various competitions, including the Annual Art Competition with over 10,000 entries annually.
I am a freelance writer for Soapbox Cincinnati, Pastel Journal, Watercolor Artist, and VMSD magazine.
I am currently the Editorial and Marketing Assistant for Blue Manatee Press, an independent children’s book publisher.
